Featurama

Dashboard and settings

Change app settings, manage credentials, and view your account details.

Use Apps for settings that affect one app. Use Settings for your account, your plan and agent tokens.

Two kinds of credentials exist. An API key belongs to one app and goes into that app's SDK setup. An Agent token belongs to your account and lets Claude Code, other MCP clients or the Featurama CLI work on your requests. Never put an agent token into an app.

Requests

Apps lists each app with its technology, creation date, and request and vote counts. Select an app to open it.

The app page header shows its name, technology, and creation date, plus New request to add a request. The Requests tab lists the app's requests by status, including pending ones. Use the search box to find a request and select a row to open it.

The tab shows up to the 200 most recent requests. When the app has more, a note such as Showing the 200 most recent of 250 requests. appears below the list.

See Approval and review for incoming feedback and Manage feature requests for editing, replies, status changes, and deletion.

Project settings

Open an app from Apps and select the Settings tab. Switches and dropdowns save as soon as you change them and confirm with a short message. The app links have their own Save app links button.

In-app board

Featurama branding shows "Powered by Featurama" below the board in your app. Your app picks up the change the next time it loads the board. Hiding the branding needs lifetime access. While billing can't be loaded, the switch stays locked.

Emails

Ask for email sets whether the submission form in your app asks for an email address.

OptionMeaning
Don't askThe form has no email field.
OptionalUsers can add an email address or leave it empty.
RequiredNew submissions need a valid email address.

When a request has an email address, your replies and status changes send an email to it. Approving a request without changing its status sends nothing. Turning collection off keeps the addresses already saved with requests. See Reply emails.

Email language sets the language of the emails for this app, English or Deutsch. Requests and replies keep the words their authors wrote.

Email me about new requests sends you an email for each new request in this app. It is on by default. Turn it off and new requests still wait in your inbox. Your notification emails are always in English.

Your own notifications link to the request in the dashboard. Emails to users link to the request on the published board, or to your app deep link.

  • App Store URL and Play Store URL are your store pages. The review button in the SDK and in user emails uses them. With one link set, the email button opens it. With both, it opens the store that matches the phone, or lets the user pick.
  • App deep link opens your app from emails and the public board. See Open requests in your app.

Featurama checks each link when you leave the field. Clear a field to remove the link, then select Save app links.

Public board

Publish board puts the approved requests on a public web page. Once it is on, the section shows the Board URL and the code to embed the board on your website. See Public webboard and website embed.

Regenerate an app API key

An existing API key shows only its prefix for identification. The full key cannot be retrieved later.

Regenerating immediately invalidates the previous key. Mobile integrations using the old key stop working until they use the new key. Coordinate the change with your developer before continuing, including updates for already installed app builds.

  1. Open the app and select the Integration tab.
  2. Under API key, select Regenerate.
  3. In Regenerate API key?, read the warning, then select Regenerate key.
  4. Look for New API key created. The full new key replaces the prefix. Select Copy API key and store the key before leaving the page. It is shown only this once.
  5. Give the new key to your developer through an approved credential store and update the affected integrations.

The API key is for the app's SDK. An agent token doesn't work there. See SDK setup for the integration instructions.

Below the key, the Integration tab shows the setup for the app's technology in two steps, 1. Install and 2. Add to your app, each with a copy button. The code contains a placeholder where the full API key goes. SDK guide opens SDK setup, and Set up with a coding agent opens CLI agent setup.

Account settings

Settings shows Name, Email, Member since and Plan under Account. Name and email are read-only. Plan shows a Lifetime access badge once you have it. Without it, Plan says None and offers Get lifetime access. See Unlock hosted lifetime access for payment and confirmation help.

Change password on the same card asks for your current and a new password. Other devices get signed out. If you no longer know the current one, use Forgot password? on the sign-in page.

To sign out, open the account menu at the bottom of the dashboard sidebar and choose Sign out.

Create an agent token

An agent token gives Claude Code, another MCP client or the Featurama CLI access to all apps and requests in your account. You don't need one to use the dashboard. Never put it into an app, a shared chat or a committed file.

  1. Open Settings and find Agent tokens.
  2. Select Create agent token.
  3. Keep or change the Token name. Name it after the agent or machine so you know what to revoke later. Then select Create agent token.
  4. In Agent token created, select Copy agent token and store it in a password manager or secret store before selecting Done.

The full token is shown only once. The panel also shows an MCP configuration with the token filled in, so treat that configuration like the token itself. Use the protected handoff in CLI agent setup or MCP access. An agent token doesn't replace the lifetime purchase needed to create an app.

Revoke an agent token

Revoking a token ends its access for good. Any agent using it stops working with Featurama.

  1. In Settings, find the token under Agent tokens. Check its name, prefix and last-used date.
  2. Select the trash button in that token's row.
  3. In Revoke agent token?, check the name and select Revoke token.
  4. Look for Agent token revoked. The token disappears from the list.

Delete an app

Deleting an app permanently removes its API key, requests, votes, comments, and comment votes. The action cannot be undone, and mobile integrations can no longer use that app.

  1. Open the app from Apps and check its name.
  2. Select the Settings tab.
  3. Under Delete app at the bottom, select Delete app.
  4. The confirmation carries your app's name, for example Delete My App?. Read the warning, then select Delete app to confirm or Cancel to keep it.
  5. Look for App deleted. Featurama returns you to Apps.
